I've been a bad blogger lately. :( Will you guys forgive me?
Time to update you on my running! Did really well the first week. Stuck with the plan and everything. My second week had a few set backs. I felt like crap. I went to the doctor and got antibiotics so things are now on the up and up. Now I am on week 3 and Monday was my first running day back. I am not going to sugarcoat it. It blew. I felt like I was dieing. But, I did it. That's all I can say for that run... I did it.
Yesterday, Wednesday, I ran for the 2nd time this week. I've been carrying my iPhone and listening to music off it this week and decided to have a little fun while running. Let's face it, I needed something to keep my mind off the fact that I felt like I was hyperventilating.
Yah, I know. Goober. Really flattering, too, right?
I only walked 3 times and once was only for 30 seconds. Pretty proud of myself. My achillies tendons have been screaming at me lately so I have been making sure to take anti-inflammatories (Are you proud, dad!?) throughout the day and not wear heels to work. :)
My cool down walk around the neighborhood was pretty nice, too!
So pretty. Now if only those sunsets came with warmer weather! Soon!!
I had to go out after this to look for a dress for this weekend. Exciting stuff happening this weekend! On the way home, I was really craving ice cream. I stopped in Randall's and they have these teeny tiny 1 cup servings of ice cream. Genious! Just enough.
I was so excited to get home and devour this! I was disappointed though. Something was off. It wasn't too good. C'est la vie!
I will try to become more of a regular around here! :)
